November started quite balmy and golden but was chilly and grey towards the end. The succulents have all had to go on a little holiday to the window ledge to soak up some sun. I’m so ready for some festive cheer and Christmas cosiness!
Lots of Liberty print scrunchies being made here this week! More soon 🙂
I’m so pleased to be featured on luxury lifestyle boutique Amara’s blog again this year with one of my Christmas decorating tips!
Pop over to their website for plenty more festive ideas and inspiration!
Reading this beautiful article over on the Amara blog made me realise that I have no idea where our decorations are since we moved… Fingers crossed I’ve squirrelled them away somewhere safe or we might just have to embrace the contemporary Scandinavian vibe this year!
I’m currently trying to shoehorn as much knitting as possible into my already busy evenings before the temperature plummets like it’s been threatening to do this last week. I’ve had this gorgeous jumper on the needles since last Christmas (for shame!) so it’s well overdue. Looking forward to sharing some more progress soon – I’m nearly at the good bit! The pattern is called Meredith and is from the Rowan Tweed book.
As always, I seem to be juggling several crafty projects at the same time which means that progress in all areas isn’t as quick as it should be. Never mind – I’m looking forward to being able to share more exciting news soon!
After much deliberation I’m about to cut into this beautiful piece of upholstery velvet I picked up at a House of Hackney sample sale months ago – it’s nearly a metre square but has a rectangular chunk taken out of each corner and cost £5 in the remnant bin. I’m making a cheery 60’s style A line mini using New Look 6106.
I finally plucked up the courage to use the beautiful, shiny overlocker that Ciaran bought me for my birthday back in July and guess what I made? Baby leggings!
